Background
After working over 15 years as a IT Program Manager in Fortune 500 companies, I needed a change. To counteract the sitting in the office, I was trying to keep active with sports, but ended up with repeated injuries and a period of chronic myofascial pain.
I wasn't finding help for my issues, despite visiting GPs, massage therapists and osteopaths. I needed to be able to understand the cause of my health issues by myself which lead me to study Massage, Myofascial Release and later Structural Integration.
During my studies I finally understood the root cause of my chronic pain which lead me finding the right people to help me with my recovery. I also realised that there are many people who suffer like me and can't find help through the usual routes.
I've since spent my time studying and practising to be able to share what I've learned and to help others. I hope I can be part of your journey in healing, recovering or just feeling better to enjoy a happy and active life.
How I Can Help
I’ve experienced months of chronic myofascial pain and that has given me lots of insight and understanding about pain and how to ease it. I’m happy to share my experiences and my knowledge if you’re experiencing any (chronic) pain.
I've trained in Muay Thai, Boxing and Crossfit in the past, and currently do Functional Training and Hiking. I’m an avid fan of MMA, Martial Arts and Crossfit Games. I understand the requirements of contact and bio-mechanically demanding sports pose to a body for optimal performance. I can help you move better, be more mobile, increase resilience and reduce injury risk.
I worked with all kinds of people all over the world; elderly who want to keep mobile to runners, amateur athletes, fighters, Pilates teachers and Crossfit Games athletes. I’ve had a practice in London, Phuket (TH), Auckland (NZ), and Brighton. Just before the pandemic, I moved to Cornwall and established my practice near Penzance.
